Welcome to Mr. Garzzillo's classroom!

Chemistry 1I consistently tell my student that chemistry is one of the few subjects that truly builds on itself. The topics that students learn at the beginning of the year are required for topics covered in the middle and end of the year. It is ever building!! Chemistry is the foundation on which everything is built around us. It is vital that students have a firm understanding of the "finer" details of life!

Biology - CPIn this course students will gain valuable insight into how life works around them. This introductory course takes students on a journey through cells, organelles, transport mechanisms, and DNA replication all the way to ecosystems and the diversity of life through evolution. In the state of South Carolina, this class has an End-of-Course (EOC) test that is taken by all biology students across the state.

Physical Science - CPPhysical science introduces students to chemistry and physics throughout the year. The first semester is comprised of basic chemistry concepts, while the second semester introduces them to basic principles of physics. This course provides students a firm foundation in preparation for the full length chemistry and physics courses that they will take later in their high school career.
